Welcome to Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists

We are an enthusiastic group of fiber artists who practice many crafts, including weaving, spinning, dyeing, knitting,
basket weaving, punch needle, rug hooking, hand needlework and more.

We offer classes, study groups and tours to our members and the public.
We host school field trips where we teach children about how heritage fiber arts were used to make clothing.

There is something happening at our large studio in the Boarding House at the Historic Johnson Farm every week.

Check out our classes, study groups and events calendar to see what we’re up to!

We even have a Gift Shop if you’re looking for a unique hand crafted gift for someone (or yourself)!

We are open to the public, Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM.
In general, if Henderson County Schools are closed due to inclement weather or holidays, so are we.
During late Dec and most of January, our hours are limited so please call first if you are planning to visit, 828-595-9475.
