Registration and Payment:

You can register and pay for your class in one of several ways:

1. Online: Click HERE to register and pay now via credit card.

2. In person: Visit the Boarding House at the Historic Johnson Farm (see address below) during open hours (M-F, 10-3) to complete a class registration form and make your payment via cash or check.

3. By mail: Click HERE for the Registration Form, then download and print the form. Complete the form and mail (see address below) with a check made out to Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists.

Punch Needle 101
Class Description: This class would be for someone who is interested in Punch Needle but has no idea where to start.  Learning from the very beginning about the punch, how to put the fabric in a locking hoop and a small project to start on. Learn basics of punch needle embroidery with thread. (Has also been called Russian Punch)

Fee:  Payable by cash, check or credit card
$30.00 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at time of registration)
$40.00 for non-HWFA members

Materials provided by instructor: Kit provided which will include a pattern on Weavers cloth, wooden coaster and DMC thread.
Materials fee:
$20.00 (payable in cash to instructor first day of class)
Materials brought by student: Snack and drink, if desired.  The materials needed are a punch needle (ultra punch), a locking embroidery hoop (Morgan) and scissors.  I will bring extra punches and hoops to borrow or purchase.  I also have Weavers cloth.

Additional information: Park at the Historic Johnson Farm Interpretive Center and walk to the Boarding House. Handicapped parking is available at the Boarding House. Please note, as a historic building, the Boarding House is not handicapped accessible.
