Finishing Techniques for Small Projects
Class Description: Learn how to “lace” completed pieces to a frame, how to apply to fabric (wool), embellish with embroidery or beads or buttons. Lots of ideas. These methods could be applied to embroidered, punch needle, rug punch with yarn, cross stitch, needlepoint, hooked projects, etc. This class shows you different ways to finish small pieces.
Fee: Payable by cash, check or credit card
$30.00 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at time of registration)
$40.00 for non-HWFA members

Prerequisites: Having an already completed a punched or embroidered piece would be good

Materials fee: None
Materials brought by student: Bring a completed piece to finish if you would like. If there are special frames or embellishments wanted, bring them.
Additional information: Park at the Historic Johnson Farm Interpretive Center and walk to the Boarding House. Handicapped parking is available at the Boarding House. Please note, as a historic building, the Boarding House is not handicapped accessible.
