Rigid Heddle - Weaving a Color Gamp
Class Description: Walking into a yarn store to pick out yarn for your next project can be a little intimidating. With so many colors to choose from, it’s not always easy to tell how colors will interact. A color gamp can be quite useful in these situations.
In this course, students will weave a color gamp in primary and secondary colors, and I expect some tertiary colors to make a guest appearance! This is a great class for those who wish to design their own handwovens, alter patterns, or just come play with color. Participants should be able to direct warp and weave on a rigid heddle loom with minimal assistance. This course is a great follow-up to a Beginner Rigid Heddle class or the Color and Weave course.
